It's a Block Party!

Finally time for my first Studio Calico big reveal! The build up has been intense - especially with Christmas thrown in as well! I really loved my first kit, BLOCK PARTY and had lots of fun mixing it up with the add-ons:   Pollard Ave, Pioneer Dve and Woodbrooke Rd.

Can you tell how much fun I had?? Eight layouts in total! Pretty much a record for me during the silly season! Being very new to Studio Calico I must say that I loved the printables. I had always steered away from this type of thing. But they are very easy to use and extremely versatile. I simply printed them onto matte photo paper and I hand cut most of them that you see on pages. Simple enough? I have ordered myself a silhouette cameo bundle and some of my fellow DT members reliably inform me that it will cut out the printables precisely - and then I'll be able to use the cut-out files available too! I have also used the digital brushes this month. I have printed some on photos and used some as embellishments..The shipping tags you see on a few of my layouts are new to the SC shop too and I love them - go get your hands on them while you can! I need more colours I think!

Stay tuned I'll let you know how I go next month after I actually get my hands on my cameo!

Thanks for looking!

  3. So excited that you are on the Studio Calico Scrapbooking team. Layouts are gorgeous as always.
Once you've played around a bit with your Cameo maybe you could do like a review with tips and good things about it as wondering if I should get one but unsure what it would be like.

  4. What wonderfully beautiful layouts!! So gorgeous!! I got a Cameo a few months back.....you will NOT be disappointed.....I LOVE IT!!! It is awesome.......my advice, just be careful when taking the more delicate cuts off the fresh sticky mat, they have a tendency to rip if you are a bit too eager like myself! Cant wait to see what you create with it!
