My apologies for some of them looking a little wonky. When I use glimmermist the cardstock ends up curly? I get this but...I do put somethhing heavy on it for 12-24 hours to try and flatten it..But it doesn't always work..Actually it never works.. Then when I photograph them and crop them on my computer they never look as straight as they most certainly are! I like things to align on my layouts..Bit anal like that really. Actually -in the 'BOND' layout the strips are meant to be crooked..So just the others.. Sigh..Any tips? I would appreciate any offers of assistance!
Bye!
oh these layouts are beautiful.. and my layouts go wonky too after misting..so i will be checking to see if others have any tips on this!!
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely pages :-)
ReplyDeletei have heard if you spray {mist} water on the back of the page before spraying the GM it stops the paper curl.... haven't tried it myself though so i dont know if it works!

ReplyDeleteHi Celeste... blog hopping along with Bon's CC. Beautiful LO's and photos you have here on your blog! Love the baby feet photo!!!
ReplyDeleteRe: the glimmermist, if you lightly spray the back of your cardstock with water first, it does stop the curl... I've used this technique before. Just make sure you don't make it too wet lol. Hope this helps. Catie :)
Gorgeous LO's Celeste... loving all that misting!!
ReplyDeleteHi Celeste, just stopped by on the blog train from Bons scraps. Never visited before. Wow totally love the pics of your baby soooo gorgeous and your LO's are fantastic love the misting and masking you use. Have a good weekend. Leonie
ReplyDeletePopping in on the blog train... I can never get straight photos of my LOs with no wet stuff on them! Haha! Those latest photos of your little boy are too cute! Adding you to my faves...
ReplyDeleteAttach them to the cardboard sheets you get sometimes with the papers you purchase - sometimes nice shopowners will let you keep them. Use spray adhesive and then adhere- FLAT!!!

Hi there! I'm passing through on the Bon's Scraps blog train and I have to say your work is awesome!!! I don't use glimmermist often, mostly because I have the ripple effect... but I've also heard if you turn the paper upside down and blow dry it, it stops the curling. Haven't tried it though, but Lydell Quinn said it works. :D
ReplyDeletewow lovely layouts and gorgeous pics of your family :)

ReplyDeleteTry again!!
Love your LO's just gorgeous!
Will be back!!
I am a huge fan of Maya Mists by Maya Road - I find they don't cause the same warping as the Glimmermists (not that that stops me using glimmermists - lol!). I think it is because the maya mists are thicker - not sure, but they work!
